Wayne County Sheriff Dies After Contracting COVID-19

Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon has died due to complications from the COVID-19 virus. The 65-year-old Napoleon died at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Thursday evening in the company of family, according to his daughter Tiffani Jackson.

President Peter Koutoujian and the entire MCSA offer heartfelt condolences to the family of Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon. Sheriff Napoleon was a longtime, active MCSA member and friend to many.
