A GoFundme has been set up for Haney’s his wife Leslee and 1 month old son Cole, for those who wish to support them during this difficult time.
Deputy Brian Haney died as a result of a tragic traffic collision, on his way home to his newborn son. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Deputy Haney had served the Orange County Sheriff’s Department since August 2016. Along with his service to Orange County, he also served in the Air Force Reserves as a Senior Airman.
